Can I Patent an Old Product that I Found?
No. For starters, you can only patent something that you actually invented (either alone or with other co-inventors). Secondly, any prior public disclosure or sale of that product is prior art against you. You cannot resurrect an old product from the dead and obtain patent rights to it.
